The Opportunity:

We are looking for a commercially minded and detail focused Management Accountant to join our UK finance team. This role will play a key part in supporting the finance function through accurate reporting, insightful analysis, robust controls, and business partnering across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate monthly management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, improving financial controls, and helping drive informed decision making across the business.

What We’re Looking For in a Management Accountant:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and month-end close experience
• Excellent Excel and financial systems skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate clear insights
• High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the business
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
• Experience within business to business telecoms, technology, SaaS, or fast-paced commercial environments would be advantageous

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
• Ownership of month end close activities including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Production of monthly reporting packs for UK leadership and Group Finance teams
• Support strong cash flow forecasting and working capital management processes
• Assist with annual budget, forecast, and reforecast cycles, including maintaining detailed financial models
• Analyse revenue, gross margin, operating costs, and key business trends to provide actionable insight
• Business partnering with departmental leaders to support performance management and cost control
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
• Support statutory audit processes and year end accounts preparation
• Assist with tax compliance requirements including VAT, corporation tax, and other filings as required
• Ensure adherence to financial controls, governance processes, and Group policies
• Support continuous improvement of finance systems, reporting processes, and automation initiatives
• Provide ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and support for strategic projects and leadership requests
