The Opportunity:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide advanced support across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and hybrid on-premises environments. Your role will cover identity, device management, security, and migration projects. You’ll troubleshoot day-to-day incidents, support larger deployments, and help customers get the most out of their IT systems.

What We’re Looking For in a Technical Support Engineer:

  • Strong experience in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Windows 10-11 environments
  • Hands-on knowledge of on-premises Active Directory and Exchange Server (2016/2019 preferred)
  • Proficiency with Intune for device management, compliance policies, and app deployment
  • Familiarity with RMM tools, such as Kaseya, for proactive endpoint management
  • Confident, personable, and able to communicate clearly with customers at all levels
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Telephony / UC experience (Teams Voice, 3CX, Horizon, PBX) is desirable
  • PowerShell scripting and Microsoft certifications (MS-900, MD-102, SC-900, AZ-104) are a plus

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working as part of the IT and Telecoms support desk resolving customer faults.
  • Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune)
  • Manage and maintain on-premises Active Directory and Exchange environments, including hybrid setups
  • Configure and oversee Azure AD (Entra ID) with a focus on Conditional Access, MFA, and identity security
  • Deploy and support endpoints using Intune Autopilot, ensuring smooth onboarding and compliance
  • Troubleshoot networking issues including DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT, and VOIP
  • Assist with migration projects, such as Exchange, file servers, and hybrid AD to cloud solutions
  • Work directly with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure a positive support experience
